What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cyberspace Training Specialist position at SPYROS Information & Technology Consulting?
Duties:
- Assesses effectiveness of training to ensure training meets objectives and joint standards
- Assists in evaluating training objectives; Determines revisions for course materials
- Assesses courses for equivalency
- Assists in maintaining joint training standards
- Assists in assessing readiness for cyberspace forces for conducting cyberspace operations
- Participates in the planning and scheduling of training and exercise events and observation activities
- Develops requirements for collective training and exercise events
- Assists in identifying and tracking observations and lessons learned from training and exercise events both internally to USCYBERCOM and across the Joint Force for resolution
- Assists in assessing training initiatives, identifying shortfalls, and developing mitigation strategies
Location: Columbia, MD
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of Training experience
- Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification (CAP/CGRC, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess current Counterintelligence Polygraph and Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Location: Columbia, MD (Customer Site - CANX)
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $160,000. Final salary is commensurate upon education and applicable years of experience.
