We’re looking for a dedicated, full-time Quality Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Wichita, KS for a 1-year contract. We’re hiring for all three shifts! If you’re passionate about electronics and have a sharp eye for detail and quality, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical inspections on heavy aircraft structure parts
- Conduct in-process, first article, and final inspections of mechanical parts
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings according to industry and commodity standards
- Ensure compliance with work instructions and quality standards
- Identify and resolve quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Conduct detailed quality inspections and collaborate with team members to ensure product excellence
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and tech-savvy skills
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or a related field
- Quick learner with a willingness to grow and develop new skills
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AS9102 standards
- Familiarity with aircraft structures
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints (GD&T) and related technical drawings
- Skilled in using a variety of precise measurement tools
- Experience in nonconformance investigation and resolution
- Prior experience inspecting mechanical components and verifying products to drawing specifications
