We are hiring a Senior Quality Assessor conducting on-site, as needed, one-day quality assessments and audits of electromechanical product suppliers. If you have a passion for electronic mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
\n- Conduct one-day assessments and audits at client-supplier sites to evaluate product quality and compliance.
- Ensures that supplier products meet quality, safety, and performance standards through regular evaluations.
- Work closely with suppliers to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
- Inspect electromechanical products and manufacturing processes for adherence to specifications and standards.
- Identify and document quality issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
- Assess supplier quality management systems for effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to clients and suppliers.
- Ensure suppliers comply with industry regulations (e.g., ISO, CE, UL, RoHS).
- Provide feedback and guidance to suppliers to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Travel required for site visits (1-day assessments).
- May require the use of PPE depending on the supplier’s environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly with electromechanical products.
- Proven experience in conducting quality assessments, audits, and inspections.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, CE, UL, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple supplier audits.
- Certification in quality management (CQE, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Familiarity with supplier quality management systems and risk assessment tools.
