Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in various healthcare settings, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist in maintaining accurate patient records
• Manage inventory and restock medications
• Process prescriptions and insurance claims
• Provide excellent customer service to patients
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proficiency in aseptic technique for sterile compounding
• Knowledge of acute care and hospital pharmacy operations
• Familiarity with IV infusion procedures
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to assist with inhalation therapy devices
• Strong patient service and care skills
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred)
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
