Role Description
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team in a hybrid capacity for a 6-month unpaid internship starting on 2/7/25. This role offers hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and digital marketing while contributing to innovative campaigns. You’ll work closely with our team to develop engaging content, analyze performance metrics, and optimize social media presence across multiple platforms, gaining valuable industry insights and real-world experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to enhance engagement and brand presence.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster online community growth.
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and suggest optimizations.
- Conduct research to identify content opportunities, emerging trends, and best practices in digital marketing.
- Assist in running paid social media campaigns and understanding ad performance.
- Maintain and organize content calendars to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to create high-quality visuals, graphics, and video content.
Qualifications
- Passion for social media, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.
- Strong writing, communication, and creative skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
- Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) and video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Understanding of SEO, hashtags, and engagement tactics to optimize content reach.
- Own laptop is required for this role.
