We are seeking a motivated Nurse for one of the fastest growing clinical research site networks in the US. Someone who is eager to break into the clinical trial world. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, particularly in IV administration, and a desire to learn and grow within the research arena. This role will provide an opportunity to be involved in the planning, implementation, and management of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while prioritizing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the conduct of clinical trials, including screening and enrolling participants.
- Perform clinical assessments and collect data according to research protocols.
- Administer IV treatments, medications, and other interventions as prescribed and in line with clinical protocols.
- Monitor patients for adverse effects and ensure their safety and comfort during clinical trials.
- Educate and obtain informed consent from research participants regarding the nature of the study, procedures involved, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with principal investigators, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure protocol adherence and high-quality data collection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information and clinical trial data.
- Participate in research team meetings and contribute to the development of trial protocols and related documentation.
- Stay current with clinical research guidelines and regulations, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Clinical nursing experience with a strong background in IV administration.
- A degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the research team.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of clinical research.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary : $35 - $38
