About the position
The Director of Finance and Accounting will be responsible for building the accounting and finance team and managing the company’s financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role ensures the integrity of financial reporting, oversees budgeting, and provides critical financial insights to support the company’s growth strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Controls & Reporting
- Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial reporting.
- Manage the consolidated financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Oversee all US GAAP reporting requirements, respond to auditing activities, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Budgeting & Analysis
- Develop accurate and timely budgets and reports.
- Identify and track key financial metrics to drive business growth.
- Hold teams accountable for financial performance and ensure budgets align with strategic objectives.
- Conduct meaningful proactive analysis to improve decision-making related to make vs. buy vs. rent, CAPEX, and cash management.
Leadership & Team Development
- Establish, hire, and oversee the company’s accounting and finance team.
- Promote a culture of accountability and high performance within the department.
- Ensure that all members of the finance team are aligned with the company's business objectives.
Strategic Financial Planning
- Assist the CEO in developing and executing the company’s strategic financial direction.
- Provide valuable financial insights that drive better decision-making.
- Develop and recommend an annual operating plan and financial budget that supports the long-term strategy of the business.
- Anticipate financial risks and opportunities, proactively addressing potential issues.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Strong Accounting experience is a must
- 5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience in the copier and managed print industry preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
