Our client is a unique 3PL that operates as a logistics network specializing in safe, secure transport of high value or unique assets. This includes temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals, electronics, aerospace, luxury goods, fine art, and even hazardous chemicals. They were founded in 2013 and have since grown into a strong force in the industry. They take a lot of pride in their work and there is great value in what they do as this high security, white glove, service is not offered by many!
Responsibilities
You will be a member of an elite team that ensures high value loads are secure and meet customer standards for each shipment! The team is comprised of individuals that have been rigorously trained on this unique Security processes! This is a great opportunity to really level up that security and customer service skill set!
- Track around 10 - 15 high security loads per day
- Use detailed call scripts and email scripts to proactively create solutions to process breakdowns as they occur while communicating updates to the customer
- Communicate and coordinate cross functionally with all internal teams to ensure the integrity of shipments
- Data entry and confirmation of key milestones in the system
- Assures that all paperwork like temperature downloads, pictures, and POD are downloaded to the load documents and the customer to finish the load for billing
- Risk management with an extensive focus on security best practices and protocols
- Handling escalations of suspicious activity regarding customer freight
Qualifications
- 2 years experience within the 3PL industry
- Great communicator over the phone and ability to remain calm in high stress, escalated situations
- Ability to work on site in Lisle, IL Sun - Thurs (Sundays can be worked remotely once training in completed)
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
