What are the responsibilities and job description for the Move Manager / Professional Organizer position at Square One Move Organizers?

We are looking for compassionate, trustworthy, and hard-working individuals to join our team in various client-facing and administration roles.

Missing Person Description:
This individual has a deep desire to help older adults and their loved ones during transition and relocation with compassion and calmness. He or she works shoulder-to-shoulder with the client and their loved one to declutter, plan, pack, upack, and organize, often with a team.

- Organizing their neighbor’s pantry
Essential Attributes:
- Organization & Empathy: Exhibits strong project management skills combined with genuine care and understanding for the challenges seniors face.
- Knowledge & Resourcefulness: Demonstrates the ability to simplify complex things and can solve problems as a means of enjoyment.
- Communication & Patience: Communicates effectively and patiently with people in distress, with older folks, families, and service providers.
- Problem-Solving: Displays the ability to proactively identify, adapt, and resolve potential issues during the relocation process.
Core Functions:
- Planning & Organization: Creating and managing a comprehensive, customized move plan.
- Downsizing & Packing: Shoulder to shoulder work with the client to declutter, plan spaces, downsize, pack personal belongings, disperse unwanted items tailored to that particular client.
- Move Coordination: Overseeing all aspects of the physical move, including coordinating with movers and other vendors.
- Settling-In: Facilitating the set-up of the client’s new residence, including unpacking, organizing, and ensuring comfort and functionality.
- Leading and Inspiring Team Members
