Job Description
The Director of Partner Marketing oversees the strategy, planning, development and execution of all North American retail and carrier marketing programs to drive profitable growth and retention for the Allstate Protection Plans’ business. The Director is accountable for marketing plans at a senior leadership and senior business partner level and demonstrates flexibility to develop plans and lead others through uncertainty and change. They have expertise in analyzing business data, trends and research/measurement inputs and translating them into marketing recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for the strategy, planning, development and implementation of integrated marketing communications to support partner programs and strategies, offering solutions and recommendations to marketing leadership and business partners
- Work closely with our creative and communications team on the development of marketing and merchandising assets for all programs
- Effectively manage Marketing Manager who is responsible for day-to-day project management, briefs, print production, fulfillment, and timelines
- Influence and contribute to strategic direction of senior leadership through formal and informal communication
- Accountable for partner program plans, execution and results
- Cultivate business partner relationships with senior level leaders across the enterprise
- Influence future products/offerings by demonstrating consumer needs, trends and competitive opportunities
- Be an expert marketing guide for business leads, field team, and our partners, including creating and shares best practices (i.e. e-commerce, self-checkout, etc.)
- Oversee project budgeting and finance
- Expert development and implementation of complex integrated marketing communication programs, including analyzing research/data inputs, developing marketing strategy and marketing communication plan, and determining and allocating resources required
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This job has supervisory duties (one Marketing Manager)
Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- 12 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- Experience in the retail industry (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Functional Skills
- Advanced ability to translate business objectives into action plans
- Advanced presentation development and delivery skills
- Advanced ability to write/edit plans and presentations
- Advanced experience using Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint (must know how to create and present polished PPT decks to internal stakeholders/external clients)
- Advanced relationship, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Advanced strategic and analytical skills

(California Only) Pursuant to applicable law, SquareTrade estimates the possible base compensation for this role, if hired in California, to be within the following range: $150K - $190K

Salary : $75 - $80
