Team Member/Cashier

Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members/Cashiers to join our team at a quick-service fast food Restaurant. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service, enjoy working in fast-paced environments, and are dedicated to delivering outstanding service. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential. We're seeking someone who is organized, reliable, and interested in a long-term position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with food preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and handling guidelines
• Follow recipes and menus to ensure consistency in dish preparation
• Utilize knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Work with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Maintain a professional, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages
• Coordinate food production with serving times
• Learn, record, and understand menu items, abbreviations, presentation, and portions
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Unload and stock inventory as needed
• Show punctuality and consistent attendance
• Provide excellent customer service, take orders, answer questions, and upsell menu items
• Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills to provide friendly and efficient service
• Knowledge of basic retail math for handling transactions accurately
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Experience in food preparation and service
• Asian/Seafood Kitchen Experience
• Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with kitchen procedures and restaurant operations
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Prior food service experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Hiring Locations : Mcallen, Pharr, Edinburg, and Weslaco.

Expected Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
