State of Arizona - AZGFD - Application Developer (100% onsite)

The department is Replacing an aging old Informix system – Online Watercraft registration Renewal system supplemented by SQL System in the backend for online registration. 

This Online registration Renewal system uses front end (MVC) for new registration, business rules and permissions are relocated in a MVC based web UI which is used by department staff talking to SQL server backend. 

Selected candidate will consolidate two legacy databases extraction using ETL and migrate into single online SQL Server database. The application is currently on prem moving to cloud (AWS). 

Selected Resource will be working with PM. BA. QA and Infrastructure teams.

 Responsibilities:

• Legacy conversion from back-end Informix (4GL) to SQL server
• Swap the middle tier and back end
• The online system is hosted in AWS Lamda functions, Amazon event bridge are key AWS Skills Required
• Being able to Work in legacy system and new programming languages

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Informix
• Ms SQL, SQL Server Dot Net, Net Core, C#, Linux, Git Lab, SSRS -Power BI, ETL, LDAP, and cognitive integration
• AWS- its products and services- AWS Lamda functions, Amazon event bridge are key AWS
• Dockers for containerization 
• Web layer/Service layer/ message and remote
• DLP specifically with C#
