Job Overview:
The Health and Human Services Delivery Center (HHSDC) seeks an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect to lead IT infrastructure modernization efforts. This role involves designing and implementing cloud and hybrid solutions using Microsoft Azure, supporting workload migrations, and ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cloud strategies and technical roadmaps.
- Migrate and modernize on-premises systems to Azure.
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to meet project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry and government standards.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and training.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12 years in software development.
- 5 years as a Software Development Lead.
- 3 years as a Designer/Architect on mission-critical systems.
- Expertise in Azure administration, development, and DevOps.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git).
- Strong knowledge of software, data, and systems architecture.
- Experience with SQL, .NET, Python, data lakes, and Azure services.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Microsoft Azure certification preferred.
Additional Information:
- Primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits required in Harrisburg, PA.
- Candidate must report on-site to pick up equipment.
- Experience in the public sector is highly desired.
