Job Description
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) seeks an Epic Application Analyst to support the Outpatient Clinical Systems. The position involves analyzing workflows, implementing Epic system enhancements, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. The candidate will work with hospital services to optimize the Epic System, primarily for Ohio s Regional Psychiatric Hospitals, and provide ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze workflows and technical issues related to Epic EHR and third-party applications.
- Collect requirements for system enhancements and implement requested changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues of varying complexity.
- Support system installations, patches, upgrades, and optimizations.
- Partner with quality and operational leaders to ensure systems meet business needs.
- Ensure data integrity and security across assigned applications.
Qualifications:
- Epic certification in one or more Epic modules (e.g., EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation, EpicCare Inpatient Order Entry).
- 12 years of work experience in infrastructure, database administration, software development, or business process analysis (or 36 months of relevant experience).
- 2 years of experience in health services research or policy analysis.
- Experience with Epic Health Information Management (HIM) and Grand Central modules.
Additional Details:
- Hybrid work model (1 day/week onsite).
- Occasional out-of-state travel for training may be required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Salary : $40 - $50
