What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto-CAD Position position at Sr. Landscape Architect?
Role: Develop/maintain drawings and specifications for security equipment, controls, and processes by using computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment. Must possess prior experience with Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering design practices.
Requires: 2D and 3D design planes, basic mathematical skills, knowledge of CAD software and support equipment. Possess organizational and communication skills, be goal oriented, self-starter, team player. Project a professional image and commitment to customer satisfaction:
- AA Degree (AAS) Degree in Design/Drafting or 3 years in 2D & 3D CAD Software
- Familiarity or experience using AutoCAD 2024 or later, Solidworks, etc.
- Background in Graphics Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio etc.)
- Able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- Work Schedule - 8-5 M-F. May include evening and weekends when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Create, modify and revise system designs.
- Design detailed specifications for components using computer aided design S/W.
- Coordinate w/others design, layout, components/systems to resolve issues.
- Review specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas.
- Track, control and organize drawings w/versioning and part numbering system.
- Compliance w/system design documentation and some technical writing.
- Able to complete tasks on schedule and interface with clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.30 - $28.06 per hour
