Position: PostgreSQL DBA
Experience: -8 Years
Location: Denver, CO(Hybrid)
Responsibilities: -
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration and migration.
- Strong understanding of database migration methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in converting/validating Oracle PL/SQL to Postgres code.
- Postgres Performance tuning. Application database experience, procedural SQL in either Oracle or Postgres.
- Postgres knowledge of converting code
- Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
- Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Experience with pg_dump, pg_restore, and logical replication.
Educational Qualifications: -
- Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
