S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking an intern to work with our Help Desk Analyst for the summer. The candidate selected for this position will gain hands-on experience providing IT support and troubleshooting issues related to our computer systems. The internship will begin early May 2025 and will end in September 2025.
Looking to earn academic credit for your internship? Snodgrass will work with you and your school on all necessary documentation and requirements.
Responsibilities may include:
- Monitor and assist with daily help desk requests and issues
- Install, repair, and maintain employee laptops, following firm’s procedures with documentation
- Perform variety of tasks and projects assigned by the Help Desk Analyst
- Professionally communicate with employees and help problem solve issues
- Ability to work independently
- Must be in office
Qualifications:
- Internship is geared towards those working to towards a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or related major
- GPA 3.0 or greater strongly preferred
- Availability to work approximately 25-35 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
- Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Experience with Windows 10/Windows 11
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Experience working with Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)
- Basic understanding TCP/IP protocol
- Good understanding of computer architecture
- Working knowledge of Windows command-line including PowerShell
