What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Warehouse Manager position at Sr Technical Director?
Summary
The Regional Warehouse Manager will be responsible to plan, produce and oversee Modular Build Systems projects, events and shows in accordance with work orders received from Account Executives, Exhibitor Sales and Exhibitor Services while keeping job costs at the lowest possible level and maintaining quality, safety, and customers service standards.
This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office, warehouse and/or show-site based out of Washington DC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee all systems production and have adequate working knowledge of all related departments
Responsible for hiring, coaching, training and mentoring the employees to ensure they have the tools necessary to succeed
Review, distribute and process all production work tickets
Review all work tickets for an event, understand which tickets are special orders and how to accomplish the results
Prioritize the workload of the staff
Produce multiple events simultaneously for various locations
Complete an accurate systems inventory biannually and monthly cycle counts
Determine equipment shortages and work with demand planners to secure equipment
Review vetting folder for accurate detail approvals
Follow-up with items ordered from other departments
Supervise packing and staging in-house of all elements for a given project, event or show including stock materials, special order and pre-built items
Maintain accurate labor, equipment, and material records as required
Produce production schedules and labor budgets
Enforce all Company safety policies and procedures
Maintain quality control to ensure Company standards are met
Direct installation and dismantle labor and watch packing closely to avoid any potential damage
Manage team activities
Manage difficult or emotional customer and employee situations and respond promptly to people’s needs
Solicit customer feedback to improve service
Promote and provide a high level of customer service according to Company guidelines
Understand business implications of decisions
Directly supervise a large group of employees and sub-supervisors as needed
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws
Train and work directly with employees
Perform all other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred
5 – 10 years of related experience and/or training
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of Flex & Smart Panel Systems preferred
Travel Requirements
Travel up to 25%
Salary : $82,000 - $118,000
