Regional Account Executive – Direct Sales
About the opportunity:
SRA 831(b) Admin seeks a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Executive to join our direct sales channel. This is a key role where cultivating, developing and maintaining strong relationships with both assigned and net new prospects allows us to achieve near and long-term objectives.
The Regional Account Executive – Direct Sales will collaborate with various internal departments daily, and will be responsible for planning, developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of SMB prospects from various industries in an assigned region. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will qualify, develop, and educate business owners on features, distinctions, and the benefit of utilizing an 831(b) Admin as a risk mitigation tool.
Your passion and eagerness to put your sales experience, start-up mindset, and exceptional follow through skills to work will be key in driving successful outcomes that grow and achieve assigned revenue targets.
In this role, you will:
- Effectively manage your sales pipeline, ensure accurate up-to-date prospect and customer detail in our CRM, complete territory sales plans, timely record won/loss details.
- Identify and understand client needs and deliver results that consistently exceed expectations.
- Act as the main point of escalation for any prospect / client-related issues, resolving conflicts and objections that moves prospects to make an informed decision.
- Follow up and follow through on all sales qualified leads, attend sales meetings, assist with special projects, participate in regional conferences and trade shows within assigned region.
- Prepare routine expense, sales, and activity reports.
What you'll bring to this role:
- Relevant sales experience, with at least 5 years of people and territory management experience.
- Evidence of top sales achievement.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, complexity and uncertainty while working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong lead generation skills with a keen ability for written, verbal and digital communication.
- Proven cross-functional interaction with RevOps, Marketing and Customer Success teams.
- Executive presence in value selling to SMB owners, C suite, principals, and partners.
- 4-year BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory.

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience selling to SMB owners, principals and partners.
- Experience closing $100k deals.
- Familiarity with sales tech stack: Salesforce, LinkedIn, Apollo io, Google suite, MS Office.
- 4-year BA/BS degree in business or finance.
- Strong C-level customer references.
- Worked in a start-up or growth-centric environment.
- Strong business acumen.
Base Salary Range: The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of SRA 831(b) Admin total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan. In addition, SRA 831(b) Admin provides a variety of benefits, including generous health and dental insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO), casual work environment and family-friendly work hours.
