The Account Manager is responsible for the development of our customer base and their dealer base – in essence – take ownership in these two business channels. The Account Manager must work to position SRC as the customers’ primary supplier and be essential in the development of the annual strategic plan with sales and gross margin dollar goals. Account Manager's must build strong and personable relationships with the customers. It is expected that the account manager will be the internal market expert on their customer's products within SRC. The Account Manager will have input on promotions, pricing levels and new product development with the use of competitor knowledge base covering such as their product offerings, pricing, strengths, and weaknesses.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development :
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and lead generation.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
