We are currently seeking an intern to join our growing Urban Mobility & Infrastructure group in our Minneapolis, MN office. This position contributes to SRF innovation and lasting solutions by developing productive and scalable transit solutions in LRT, BRT, commuter, fixed-route bus, and paratransit environments.
Responsibilities:
- Works on routine tasks according to specific procedures under close supervision.
- Assist design teams with the development of plans, reports, studies, and contract documents.
- Engage in a positive work environment with an open mind to learning new skills and software associated with typical project requirements.
- Prepare project cost estimates.
- Perform field construction inspection services and assistance for survey crews.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a university's civil engineering undergraduate program (junior or senior level preferred)
- Seeking someone who is collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, and possesses strong communication skills as well as an ability to self-start.
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or in Bentley 3D design tools a plus.
- Microsoft office suite experience.
Salary: $24.50/hr
Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
