SRG Global is looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team in Evansville, IN! In this role, you will provide the technical knowledge and expertise needed to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
What You Will Do
- Partner with the Operations team to develop solutions, methods, and processes to reduce the overall risk profile of the facility
- Drive the follow-up and closure of EH&S action plans from activities such as audits and regional priorities
- Prepare various EH&S reports, including collection and review of metrics on a monthly or as-needed basis
- Conduct and review safety audits, hazard assessments and hazardous waste inspections
- Guide and participate in company safety team meetings, activities, and inspections
- Act as a liaison to all team members to help with employee safety issues or concerns
- Assist with managing site risks including facilitating risk assessments, job safety analyses, and PPE assessments
- Help in developing employee environmental, health and safety training programs
- Aid incident investigations, root cause analysis, and determining corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Health and safety experience working in a manufacturing environment OR a bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience leading and developing safety initiatives and programs
