Aviation Assembly Technician
Location : Merritt Island, FL
Salary : $48 / hr
Industry : Aerospace / Manufacturing
Employment Type : 6 month assignment w / potential for extension or conversion
Shift : Friday through Sunday, 6pm-6am. 25% Overtime is expected.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Additional technical training or certification preferred.
- A minimum of 5-10 years in a manufacturing role in aerospace or similar industry, with a focus on avionics or harness fabrication.
- Well-versed in harsh environment cable harness assembly procedures.
- Proficient with continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office suite.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Physical Requirements : Capable of climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50lbs. Must meet necessary vision standards and able to work across different shifts including the possibility of overtime.
