Schedule : 1st Shift M-F 7am to 3 : 30pm; 2nd Shift M-F 3 : 30pm to 12am

Summary :

The Design Engineer's primary responsibility will be to take ownership of one or more product lines and manage their design and development from initial concept through production. The successful Design Engineer will take a hands-on approach, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in design processes while ensuring adherence to customer, industry, and applicable technical specifications.

Qualifications :

• Aerospace or Defense experience required.
• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC Machining, Non-Destructive Testing (Magnetic Particle, Pressure Testing, Dye Penetrant) and Mechanical Testing (Tensile, Hardness, Grain Size)
• Knowledge of design principles for various manufacturing techniques such as CNC machining and 3D printing
• Experience working in an ISO / AS9100 facility and conducting quality audits
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask with a high attention to detail
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
