Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, environmental waste management procedures, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. The EHS Specialist will collaborate with various departments to maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to environmental health, safety, and waste management.
Monitor, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor processes for handling hazardous materials, waste disposal, and recycling efforts.
Conduct safety training for employees regarding workplace safety, emergency procedures, proper handling of hazardous materials, and waste management.
Work closely with other departments, including operations, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to support EHS initiatives.
