What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Planner I (pharmaceutical manufacturing) position at SRG?
SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time contract Material Planner I to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Houston, TX.
*W2 contract only; we cannot accept C2C at this time.
Must Haves:
- Available for 1st shift, Monday through Friday
- 1-3 years experience in inventory/distribution
Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates distribution of goods to ensure that current inventory levels are within set parameters
- Plans and forecasts for future inventory levels based on sales forecast, current inventory levels, and outstanding purchase orders
- Management of a material commodity that does not entail release testing
- Identifies, develops, and ensures successful implementation of major raw materials breakthrough projects
- Ensures master data is accurate and maintained within ERP system
- Works with QA on vendor qualification
