Overview :

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing interior design solutions that meet the functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements of clients. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to develop design concepts, select furnishings, materials, and finishes, and create inviting and functional interior spaces that enhance the quality of life and reflect the client's vision and lifestyle.

Responsibilities :

1. Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements, and develop a comprehensive design program based on their objectives and budget.

2. Generate innovative design concepts, mood boards, and sketches that reflect the client's aesthetic preferences, spatial requirements, and functional considerations.

3. Utilize space planning techniques to optimize the layout and flow of interior spaces, considering factors such as circulation, furniture arrangement, and accessibility requirements.

4. Source and select furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories that align with the design concept, budget, and project timeline, considering factors such as scale, proportion, and materiality.

5. Research and specify materials, finishes, and textiles for walls, floors, ceilings, and furnishings, considering factors such as durability, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.

6. Develop color palettes and schemes that enhance the mood, atmosphere, and functionality of interior spaces, considering factors such as lighting conditions, spatial volume, and psychological effects.

7. Create digital renderings, visualizations, and presentation boards to communicate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project teams, using software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar.

8. Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for interior construction and renovation projects, including demolition plans, floor plans, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans.

9. Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the successful implementation of design concepts, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, and oversee the installation and procurement of furnishings and finishes.

10. Present design proposals, concepts, and solutions to clients through formal presentations, material boards, and virtual walkthroughs, and solicit feedback and approval to proceed with the project.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in interior design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in interior design with a proven portfolio.
• Previous experience in interior design or related field is preferred.
• Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for color, texture, and proportion.
• Knowledge of interior design principles, space planning techniques, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Project management skills, including organization, time management, and budgeting.
• Previous experience in interior design or related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
