Role : Pega Lead DeveloperLocation : Princeton NJ – Hybrid Onsite Duration : Contract to Hire Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Technical Design / Development and Code ReviewsResponsible for architecture liaison, design and development of business applications using PRPC V8.x.Ensures delivered work meets technical, functional , performance and business requirements as well as best practices defined by the team / organization / industry.Has an advanced understanding of PEGA PRPC V8.x tools and leads development activities in an Agile-SCRUM based work environment.Ability to translate business requirements into design / application builds and guide the development teamsPerformance tuning.Drives delivery of assigned tasks on schedule without compromising the quality.Leads and coordinates with cross teams in the project and promotes the use of best practices and tools.Build reusable Components and frameworksEnterprise Architecture LiaisonEstablishing coding / Design best practices & guidelines.EDUCATION : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.Minimum and Preferred Experience / Skills : 8 years of overall IT experience with 4 years in a technical leadership role.6 years in design and hands-on development experience in Pega PRPC. Pega CSSA / LSA certification is required. Pega V8.x experience is preferred.Should have hands-on experience in developing PRPC / BPM applications.Good understanding and experience with integration tools and technologies such as BPM, Java, and Web services, ESB, JMS, XML, ETL in a J2EE environment. Java / J2EE certification is a plus.Understanding of DevOps (CI / CD / CT), Micro Services, AWS cloud-based development with the right agile mindset is requiredStrong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Advanced Oracle / SQL knowledge is highly desirable.Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills needed.
