Role Description:
SRI Telecom is in search of a Wireless Deployment Coordinator to support the Wireless Deployment Group, focusing on Wi-Fi and 5G outdoor strand deployment for Comcast. The ideal candidate will have strong task management skills and coordinate all aspects, from site identification through installation, operations, and maintenance of deployed devices. This position requires high attention to detail, strong communication and collaboration skills, proficiency with computers, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. The role includes both remote work and periodic warehouse presence, requiring the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Key Tasks:
- Assist with site identification for new installations and site swaps.
- Evaluate site locations based on RF team-provided data to determine feasibility.
- Utilize Google Earth to identify strand infrastructure, assess existing sites, and determine asset-sharing opportunities.
- Monitor and track project tasks using a Salesforce-based online scheduling tool.
- Assign tasks to internal and external teams using Salesforce and update progress accordingly.
- Collect updates from the RF and construction teams and maintain accurate records.
- Generate reports on project milestones, risks, and issues.
- Support construction managers by providing updated site data.
- Participate in project calls and provide relevant updates.
- Manage project tracking in Excel and handle data within proprietary software.
- Work in a warehouse setting for 2-3 weeks in Davenport, FL, with potential travel to other warehouse locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage workload.
- Ability to work in both remote and warehouse settings as needed.
- Proficiency in Google Earth, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with coax plant infrastructure.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar task-tracking tools is a plus.
- Background in wireless or RF technology is beneficial but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs when working in warehouse environments.
