Brief Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals and their families. This role involves conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing training and oversight to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Job Description
The BCBA will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, coordinating care with families and other providers, and ensuring compliance with all clinical policies and regulations. This position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and adherence to industry best practices.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and adaptive life skills programs.
- Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs).
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and create reports within designated timelines.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and healthcare providers to enhance intervention strategies.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with funder requirements and BACB guidelines.
- Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions, ensuring compliance with all policies.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Stay current with state, local, and federal laws related to behavior analysis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in active status.
- 5 years of experience in ABA therapy and behavior analysis.
- Knowledge of IEPs, ISPs, and intervention planning.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Competency in electronic documentation and online systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, service providers, and clinical teams.
- Physical ability to meet job demands.
