Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States
Pay: USD $131,600-$170,280/yr Annual Bonus Shift Differentials $10k sign on Bonus Relocation Assistance
Shift: Full-Time, 40 hours/week, including 24 hour shifts (12 working/12 on-call) and 8-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Brief overview
Provides direct patient care to normal-to-high risk infants, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and procedures. Manages neonatal caseload in collaboration with physicians. Serves as a patient and family advocate. We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality healthcare services, focusing on patient-centered care and innovative treatment approaches. This position is essential to our mission of enhancing patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Strong knowledge of pain management, behavioral health, and hospital medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
