Position Overview
We are seeking a Process Engineer to develop and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role will focus on equipment evaluation, troubleshooting, and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency. The Process Engineer will also lead root cause analyses for production and maintenance issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support new equipment installations and automation projects. Additionally, mentoring and training junior team members will be an integral part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
- Support equipment installation, debugging, launch, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Conduct PFMEA reviews, control plan evaluations, and launch deliverables.
- Troubleshoot automation systems, install new equipment, and implement modifications.
- Perform hands-on root cause analysis to address production, engineering, and maintenance challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in a STEM-related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- PLC troubleshooting and automation systems expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience, particularly in leading process engineering projects.
