Job Description:
We are seeking an Oracle Financials Technical Consultant to support our financial systems. The consultant will be responsible for working with Oracle Financials Application Suite, including handling inbound and outbound interfaces for Purchase Orders (PO), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) transactions to the Statewide Financial System (SFS). Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for managing the Kofax MarkView application for user management, role assignments, workload distribution, and customizations for DCJS and DHSE.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 36 months of experience working with NYS customs to Oracle Financials Application Suite, including handling PO, AP, AR, and GL transactions and interfacing with SFS.
- Experience in managing Kofax MarkView application, including:
- User profile management
- Assigning Kofax MarkView roles based on responsibilities
- Providing management tools for supervisors to manage workload
- Managing Kofax MarkView customizations for DCJS and DHSE
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of NYS financial policies and procedures.
- Experience working with discretionary procurements for NY state agencies.
- Knowledge of financial data processing and reconciliation.
- Experience with integration of Oracle Financials with external state financial systems.
Required Skillset:
- Expertise in Oracle Financials (PO, AP, AR, GL transactions).
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience in SFS financial transactions processing.
- Hands-on experience with Kofax MarkView for invoice processing and workflow management.
- Ability to troubleshoot, support, and enhance financial applications.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years (36 months) of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials Suite integration with NYS systems.
- Proven track record of managing Kofax MarkView application and handling its customizations.
- Experience in financial transactions processing and reporting.
