What You’ll Do Core Responsibilities
As the Shipping Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise daily outbound shipments, including proper packaging, documentation, labeling, and verification
- Ensure all outgoing materials are processed in compliance with company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Prepare and manage temperature-controlled shipping containers, including dry ice and gel packs, and ensure proper documentation accompanies all shipment.s
- Schedule and track domestic and international shipments using approved courier systems (e.g., FedEx, UPS, World Courier)
- Maintain all shipping-related logs and documentation, ensuring accuracy and audit readines.s
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and courier representatives to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and issue resolution.
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot shipping discrepancies, delays, or packaging issues in real-time
- Monitor and maintain shipping supplies inventory and request reorders as needed.
- Train and mentor designated support staff on SOP-compliant shipping procedures
- Assist with process improvement and workflow optimization related to shipping operation.s
Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise and support warehouse and shipping staff as assigned
- Monitor task completion, performance, and adherence to SOPs
- Train new staff on shipping and receiving procedures
- Communicate regularly with the Inventory, Facilities, and QA teams to ensure alignment and workflow efficiency
Inventory & Process Support
- Help maintain up-to-date shipping records and documentation logs
- Participate in audits, inventory checks, and materials tracking
- Propose process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce errors, or support compliance

What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience (pharmaceutical or regulated industry preferred)
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role is highly desirable
- Excellent organization, time management, and documentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable using systems for inventory, shipping, or warehouse documentation
- Professional, proactive, and able to lead by example
