Institutional Corporate Technology (ICT)
Institutional Corporate Technology (ICT) is part of Technology. This group is responsible for developing enterprise applications for a diverse set of businesses including Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, and Global Capital Markets. In addition, ICT provides technology solutions for client-aligned groups and company-wide divisions, such as Finance and Operations, post-trade functions within the Institutional Securities Group and standardized data and enterprise-wide services to provide leverage to the Firm's businesses.
Position Description:
Client Connectivity Services is looking for a highly motivated senior developer to design, develop, deploy, and manage bleeding edge ultra-low latency and high-capacity equity and fixed income client facing trading systems. Work with internal trading desks, risk, compliance, and other technology teams to drive and deliver software, hardware, and functional innovations to maintain industry leadership and competitive advantage in the electronic trading space.
Candidate should be able to work with people from various backgrounds and be well rounded. Ideal candidate will have a bachelors and a master s degree in computer science or related fields, have at least 5 years of working experience in designing, developing, and managing large scale, enterprise level, low latency FPGA and C applications. Prior experience must include multiyear hands-on development experience in Verilog/VHDL. Experience with C on Unix/Linux operating systems is a plus.
Expertise and hands on experience with trading technologies such as financial protocols (i.e., FIX, OUCH, Itch, BOE) a plus. *
Qualifications:
- Experience in low latency design, development, deployment, and operation of C /Verilog/VHDL applications.
- Experience with FPGA in financial industry applications is a plus.
- Experience working on configuring, testing & integrating C /Verilog/VHDL applications into a Linux environment.
- Experience working with support aspects of running trading applications.
- Track record of consistent on-time project delivery.
- Ability to manage work and plan deliverables in a structured manner (project planning).
- Clear understanding of best business practices with respect to project management processes and methodologies.
- Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks and many administrative details in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
- Strong verbal and written skills required to interact with global teams and customers
- Self-motivated.
