About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a senior engineer who can build and maintain both the front-end and back-end of websites and applications. They're involved in the entire product development cycle, from design to deployment, and maintenance.
In this role, you will:
- Write clean, functional, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end systems
- Collaborate with designers to turn mockups into user interfaces
- Optimize web design for mobile responsiveness
- Implement new features and fix bugs in existing code
- Test and debug their own code developments
- Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests
- Work with the development team to ensure system consistency
- Work closely with designers, product teams, and other developers
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understand emerging technologies and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2 years of Python experience
- 2 years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years of User Interface experience
- Proficient in implementing back-end functionality using Python
- Ability to ensure site compatibility across a range of screen resolutions.
- Contribute ideas and experience to new development solutions.
- Knowledge of modern technological advancements in web apps and programming languages.
- Experience preparing documentation and reports.
- Ability to support the project after its completion and integration of updates.
- Ability to handle various tasks and responsibilities independently, working on both the client-side (user interface and user experience) and server-side (database, server, and application logic) of a project.
