Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to support and maintain critical mainframe systems. The role involves working with COBOL, DB2, CICS, and other mainframe tools, as well as performance tuning and debugging.
Responsibilities:
- Support mainframe systems using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and MQ-Series.
- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in pre-production environments.
- Use tools like File-AID, Endeavor, Intertest, and Control-M.
- Collaborate with teams in an agile environment.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in mainframe development and support.
- Strong knowledge of COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, MQ-Series, and VSAM.
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong communication skills.
Experience in financial services is a plus
