SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. seeks Principal Consultant: Resource Geology in Denver, CO, to facilitate geological review, modeling, statistical analysis compilation of Mineral Resource Estimates (using specialist mining software, Vulcan, Datamine, Leapfrog), and compilation of NI 43-101 technical report or equivalent. Requirements: Bachelor`s degree or foreign equivalent in Geology, or a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing statistical and geostatistical methodologies; utilizing specialized geological modeling and statistical software packages used to define parameters to input into Mineral Resource estimates including Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine, and GSLib; working with international reporting codes used in the Mining Industry such as S-K 1300 (USA), CIM (Canada) or JORC (Australia); performing engineering studies including scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility. Fluency in Spanish required.
25% travel required. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $136,000 and $215,000 per year.
