What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mixer Operator CDL Class A or B (Hollingshead Mixer Company) position at SRM Concrete?
We are seeking an engaged, driven individual with an active CDL license to join our team of Mixer Manufacturers at Hollingshead Mixer Company. The primary responsibility of the Mixer Operator is to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality concrete mixer trucks. This involves safely operating and maintaining concrete mixer trucks, loading and testing concrete mixer trucks. The role demands a strong commitment to safety, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a concrete mixer truck during test procedures according to HMC specifications.
Test load concrete mixers according to company protocols.
Conduct pre-and post-operation checks on the mixer truck to ensure its proper functioning and report any defects or rework needs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all team members and public.
Maintain accurate testing records or other documentation as required.
Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure quality products, built on time.
Assist in other duties as assigned, which may include general maintenance tasks or supporting other team members in the production process.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A or B license.
Current DOT Medical Card.
Proven safe driving record.
Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in varying weather conditions.
No unexplained gaps in employment history.
Strong teamwork, reliability, and adaptability.
Previous experience as a Mixer Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Willingness to undergo HMC’s pre-employment screenings.
