What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embedded Software Engineer position at SRM Digital LLC?
Location : Redmond, WA(Onsite)
- Prefer on Xilinx platform, but can be general on another Microcontroller
- Hands-on experience in using embedded Linux (Yocto / OpenEmbedded or buildroot)
- Develop & port embedded linux applications, custom device drivers, libraries
- Configure, modify, and integrate the kernel and embedded boot loaders.
- Experience in using U-Boot, Linux kernel configuration and Device tree.
- Experience in custom driver porting and applying patches to legacy packages.
- Development and migration of existing systems to Yocto-based platforms
- Design and develop the automation to validate the builds in the CI / CD pipeline
- Maintain and support the Yocto build system in a CI / CD environment, including packaging and deployment of software images.
- Experience in creating images for different hardware platforms
