Job Title: Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Part time: 3-4 shifts per week

Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based medical care to patients that includes accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and planning for patient care and disposition.
- Perform comprehensive physical exams.
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications as and when necessary.
- Communicate with patients and give them necessary medical information.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in our team.
- Perform clinical procedures of urgent care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from a national certifying body such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- A minimum of 3 years recent experience as a FNP in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care, treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages)
- Comfortable with minor procedures (wound repair, I & D, sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
