Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling and cross-selling Credit Union services to current and potential members.
Credit Union services are to be promoted using the "member benefit-based approach". - Fully complies with the requirements of all Credit Union policies, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC Policies.
- Assists selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, counseling, disciplining, and performance evaluation of team members under his/her supervision.
- Supervises daily card services area operations and ensures the resolution of problems that arise. Coordinates the services of the Card Services Area with other departments of the Credit Union and
maintains effective lines of communication with those other departments. - Resolves or participates in the resolution of member problems referred by subordinates.
- Assists with the implementation of operational procedures necessary to deliver new services and
to enhance existing services. - Participates in the development and implementation of procedural changes necessary to ensure
the efficient and economic operation of the department. - Assists in organizing and executing effective record-keeping programs and procedures necessary
to provide adequate backup and support of services. - Plans, executes, and debriefs all efforts to promote a healthy credit and debit card portfolio.
- Keeps up to date on the data processing system's operation and software enhancements and
assists in coordinating department data processing needs with the Data Processing Coordinator. - Keeps abreast of card related regulatory rules and other requirements to ensure SRP’s compliance
in processing card related transactions. - May be assigned other tasks by appropriate line supervision.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise Card Service team members in the Operations Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with SRP FCU’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software
including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook Email /Calendar and Internet Explorer software. Experience with, Symitar, Velera, VISA systems.
Physical Demands:

successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Regularly required to stand; use hands or
fingers, touch or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel,
crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. Frequently required to lift and/or
move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to Fifty pounds. Regularly required to listen and
interpret information received through spoken words and sentences in person and by the phone and
accessed via the computer. Regularly required to communicate information and ideas so others will
understand both in person, on the phone and via the computer. Vision requirements include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
