Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Hiring Range $ 17.25 hr.
- Fully complies with all SRP Credit Union policies, procedures, guidelines, and service standards, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC Policies.
- Welcome and Engage: Greet members promptly and professionally, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression.
- Direct and Assist: Guide members and non-members to the lobby and provide any necessary assistance.
- Leverage Innovative Technology: Utilize specialized software on a tablet to check in members and streamline their experience by advising MSRs on the next member to be waited on.
- Assist with ITM Machines: As needed, assist members in using the ITM machine, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed for self-service virtual assistance and or proper use of the technology.
- Answer Inquiries: Respond to member questions and provide accurate information about our products and services.
- Promote Self-Service: Encourage using self-service tools and digital banking options.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the work area tidy and organized to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Stay Calm and Professional: Handle challenging situations and dissatisfied customers with poise and professionalism.
- Provide Directions: Help visitors navigate the lobby, offering guidance and support.
- Optimize Customer Service: Analyze member needs and direct them as necessary.
Uniform Requirement:
Guest Experience Interns are expected to wear the credit union collared shirt and black slacks provided to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the Credit Union's dress code.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience with member/customer service preferred

Physical Demands:
This is largely an active role, requiring use of typical office equipment and standing for long periods of time. Requires some sitting, bending and some lifting under 50 lbs. Most work is completed in an office environment or at an ITM. Walking around the branch and addressing employees and members is required.
