We are seeking a Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in AWS and Python to join our team in the airlines domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems, working with cloud-based architectures (AWS), and integrating Python-based services into Java applications.
< data-start="579" data-end="611">Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java backend applications for airline industry solutions.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot to support airline operations.
Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS/SQS, and Step Functions to build scalable cloud solutions.
Implement Python scripts/services for data processing, automation, and integration with Java applications.
Optimize backend performance, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot production issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and frontend developers, to enhance application functionality.
Ensure compliance with airline industry standards, security policies, and best practices.
6 years of experience in Java backend development with Spring Boot & Microservices.
Strong expertise in AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS/SQS, etc.).
Experience developing Python-based services, scripts, and automation tools.
Knowledge of airline industry systems (reservations, ticketing, flight management) is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).
Hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in an agile environment.
Prior experience in the airlines domain with exposure to airline booking, ticketing, and flight operations.
Experience in serverless computing using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and API security best practices.
