Rock Bottom Stone Supply , a partner of Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual for a Counter Sales Associate . This full-time position will focus on order entry at the sales counter with other related duties such as : warehouse, stocking shelves, shipping products.
- Work schedule : The workweek is Monday through Friday, ( 2 Saturdays a month ) - During peak seasons : April through September, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
Duties :
Entering orders at the point of sale using the company computer systemInteracting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-personGreet customer with friendly attitudeBasic computer and phone skillsCommunicate to customers the correct product for their applicationCommunicate to customers how material is priced and soldCreate Sales OrdersCreate Quotes to estimate cost of projects, quantities of material needed from customer measurementsEnsure smooth deliveries by scheduling effectively and maintaining open communication with team members and clientsBeing honest, courteous, respectful to customers & employees all timesMaintain and assist to keep a clean work environmentLearn basic knowledge of products available to customersInform management of products / special order material customers needAssist with Inventory Cycle CountsOrder picking / staging / ReplenishmentAssist with inventory cycle counts, shipping, receiving, and other related duties as assignedRequirements :
Basic computer knowledge and Internet useExperience with irrigation / landscaping products but not requiredBilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred , but not requiredAble to a pass pre-employment drug test and background screeningEducation / Experience :
