Regional Dispatcher

In this role, you'll be responsible for dispatching our drivers to job-sites and coordinating many moving parts within Western Washington.

Specific Skills

• Schedule deliveries for all locations in designated territory.
• Plan daily routes to maximize efficiency and meet the companies’ sales and productivity goals and expectations.
• Assign, plan and select trucks with the proper capabilities to fit the job.
• Track the status of deliveries and monitor whether they will meet the schedule commitments utilizing our GPS tracking, messaging software and direct communications with the branch team.
• Communicate with customers and branch teams to confirm availability and keep them informed regarding deliveries and estimated time of arrivals throughout the day.
• Managing customer expectations and complaints regarding timeliness of delivery teams arriving to the customers job sites.
• Evaluate and make decisions regarding what jobs to move or reschedule when and as needed.
• Managing opportunities that arise throughout the day such job changes, emergencies and adjust the schedule to accommodate while minimizing disruption to productivity goals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Effectively adjusting routes to address issues as they develop during the day while minimizing disruption to productivity goals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with our branch operations team to insure all the necessary materials are available, staged and ready for the daily routes.
• Work closely with the branch operations to coordinate transfers of materials and supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience dispatching in a warehouse setting with deliveries to job sites, preferably in the building products industry.
• High level of familiarity of the area and have the ability to route safely and effectively.
• Intermediate computer skills to enter sales orders and cash transactions into company software.
• Be reliable, safe and a team player.
• High School degree or GED.  College courses are a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
• Embrace the mindset of the “Make Money and Have Fun!” culture.
• Have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.
• Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $66,400 to $86,300 Annually. SRS/Heritage considers multiple factors including job related knowledge, skillset and experience when determining the final salary. Salary : $66,400 - $86,300
