What you ll Do:
The customer fulfillment API coordinator is a highly motivated and detail-oriented customer onboarding specialist with expertise in API specifications. This position plays a key role in ensuring seamless customer onboarding experiences by integrating our services with client systems using APIs. This role requires a strong understanding of API specifications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role will also serve as additional support for other onboarding methods such as EDI and flat files so background experience with various formats will be required.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and integrate our services with their systems using API specifications.
- Work closely with the development team to implement API integrations according to customer needs.
- Ensure smooth onboarding processes for clients, troubleshooting and resolving any API-related issues.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal development teams, translating customer requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, support, and product teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for customers.
- Communicate project timelines, requirements, and updates clearly to all stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions for customers to educate them on API usage and integration procedures.
- Address customer inquiries and provide technical support during the onboarding process.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to API Integrations promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement fixes and enhancements based on customer feedback and issues identified during onboarding.
- Provide assistance and backup for customer integration around traditional EDI and flat file integration
Requirements We Look For:
- Bachelor s Degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in API integration and customer onboarding in a technical capacity.
- Experience with EDI ANSI X12 formats, translation and mapping
- 2-4 years of experience working with EDI or customer fulfillment processes, including sales orders, pick tickets and invoices.
- 2-4 years of ERP experience with Order Management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
