What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class C Driver/Laborer position at SRU Electric?
SRU Electric is seeking warehouse employees. Class C Required
This position requires the ability to lift over 75 pounds and work on your feet over 8 hours a day.
General duties include but not limited to:
- Receiving, processing, and storing incoming stock and materials.
- Deliveries of telecommunications equipmet to the field sites.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Pick-ups
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- General Inventory
- Shop Housekeeping
- You will be picking up and delivering construction materials, equipment and other necessary items to and from telecommunication construction projects and warehouses. In addition to driving, you will be assisting in loading and unloading material and equipment both in a dock setting as well as on construction sites with the assistance of a lift gate.
Required:
- Driver's license (Class C Requried )
- occasional overnight travel
- Reliable transportation for your daily commute
- Desire for full-time W2 employment
- Ability to lift heavy materials.
Pay $18-21 depending on experience and certifications.
