What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Technician position at SRV Refrigeration?
We are looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to help us install, maintain and repair heating/cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning air quality equipment and performing maintenance procedures as well as providing emergency repairs when necessary. HVAC Technician responsibilities include talking with customers about their HVAC needs, performing maintenance and installations as needed and prioritizing calls based on business goals. Ultimately, you will work with customers to ensure their HVAC units run smoothly at all times and perform necessary installations and repairs.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain HVAC-R systems in commercial and industrial settings Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance of systems Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding system operations and maintenance Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and enhance overall service quality. Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practice- Proven experience as an HVAC-R technician (3 years preferred)
- Universal EPA Certification
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
