Position: Low Voltage Wire Puller

Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $20–$30/hour (based on experience)

Job Overview

As a Low Voltage Wire Puller, you will be a key part of the EMS Team, responsible for installing and organizing low-voltage wiring for refrigeration and HVAC control systems. This entry-to-mid-level position is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, a mechanical mindset, and a desire to grow within a rapidly advancing technical field.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull, organize, and terminate low-voltage wiring for EMS and control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Work closely with installers and technicians to ensure wiring is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Assist in mounting panels, conduit, and electrical hardware as needed.
• Conduct basic testing to ensure proper functionality of wiring and connections.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety standards and protocols.
• Communicate with foremen and project managers to track project progress and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience pulling, organizing, and terminating low-voltage wiring (preferred, but not required—training provided).
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces.
• Capable of bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Able to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor job sites.
